At some point you are probably going to want to upgrade your PayPal account to a business account. If you have had a PayPal account and you now want to be serious about selling on eBay it is a good idea to do this right away. If you have never set up a PayPal account, I would just start with a business account. That way you can just dive right in and start making some serious money without the restrictions that PayPal puts in place with a personal account, which is only about $500 per month at the time of this writing.
